Questions about official Clarke County court dockets belong with the office that keeps the case. This private site cannot retrieve or alter a court record. The contacts below route Circuit and District matters to the Clarke County Circuit Clerk and identify the separate Probate and municipal channels.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull dockets, change or reset court dates, remove or seal cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the clerk of court or the trial court directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Use the following routes for the most common Clarke County record needs:

  • A docket sheet: run a case search through the statewide portal, or request the docket from the clerk of court
  • A court date or setting: check the court calendar, or confirm the setting with the clerk of court
  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: look it up with a case search by party name or case number
  • Court records and case files: see court records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case

For Circuit and District Court dockets, contact the Clarke County Circuit Clerk at 114 Court Street, Grove Hill, AL 36451. Mail goes to P.O. Box 921. The Alabama court page lists (251) 275-3163, while the county clerk page lists (251) 275-3363; fax is (251) 275-3271. Published hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the office closed from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Probate records belong to the Clarke County Probate Judge at the same street address but P.O. Box 10, Grove Hill, AL 36451, phone (251) 275-3251. The official Probate page provides that separate route. Municipal cases stay with the city clerk unless an appeal creates a Circuit Court case. Call the named court before sending money or traveling.
